As much as I usually bask Cullen Bunn'southward work, and as much as I usually enjoy Deadpool-craziness, I really didn't savour this book.

Perhaps information technology was considering the merely way Deadpool could actually kill all the Marvel heroes and villains would be if all their IQs of a sudden dropped by a hundred-odd points... and, sure enough, that'southward exactly how all the characters act in this volume.

Deadpool is brainwashed into killing off all the heroes of the Marvel universe. Very dark humor within. It's interesting to run across what Deadpool is thinking is happening in that messed up encephalon of his while he'southward creatively killing off the spandex crowd of the Marvel universe. This i was slightly meliorate than the last. You tin come across Deadpool's anger, and this one feels more in character than the other. Deadpool is extremely loyal, so I don't see him willingly killing his friends. This is even so a kinda i off, non a necessary volume to read, and then unless you actually like Deadpool, similar to read everything Marvel, or picked up the first one, information technology may not even be on your radar. Step bated Wolverine, in that location's a new mind-controlled teamkiller in boondocks! Except this 1 isn't going to grow erstwhile on a subcontract while the world'due south baddies run amok for fifty years. He's going to be a little quicker near getting payback.

As far equally supervillain schemes go, brainwashing just i guy into taking out the world'south heroes feels a little half baked and kinda lazy. First off, it's already a take chances when the guy they picked has a volatile brain to begin with, what with all the regenerating tissue

Step aside Wolverine, there's a new mind-controlled teamkiller in boondocks! Except this one isn't going to abound old on a farm while the world's baddies run amok for 50 years. He's going to be a niggling quicker almost getting payback.

As far as supervillain schemes get, brainwashing just one guy into taking out the world's heroes feels a trivial half broiled and kinda lazy. Start off, it's already a gamble when the guy they picked has a volatile encephalon to begin with, what with all the regenerating tissue and overall nuttiness. Then they're really simply crossing their fingers that this new pawn of theirs can accept down hundreds of heroes, many with with vastly superior skillsets. And to top it off, they don't put a fail safe in place in case their guy goes rogue? This isn't Marvel'southward villains at their finest.

Also, why you gotta do my male child M.O.D.O.K. like that?

This time around, Deadpool killing the Curiosity Universe seems even more contrived than final time. Instead of showcasing us the artistic ways in which Deadpool disposes of the likes of Thor and Luke Cage, many times we're just shown the encarmine aftermath. Both the villains and heroes are more organized than concluding fourth dimension and should be able to acceleration their merc problem with a little brainpower and a strategy that doesn't boil downwardly to "walk upwardly to Deadpool and denote your plans to fight." But since it's a Deadpool Kills title they all merely sorta flop around aimlessly and die.

Inferior to the original, but still a fairly enjoyable bloodbath.

Information technology was surprisingly an ok story with some fun moments, some yes-seen-it-again on the previous mini-series moments and some great artwork!

Someone is killing heros, the bodycount is rising at an alarming rate. simply who is doing it?

Deadpool - under powerful mind control, he's been brainwashed (think Wintertime Soldier) by the bad guys. Can anyone finish him - or turn his attention of the villians?

Wasn't as groovy on the artwork on this one, but the different styles (equally Deadpool believes he'southward going on adventures with different heros - he doesn't realise he's killing them), was quite a nifty idea.

Wasn't as 'fun' as the offset. I really finished this i feeling sad and sorry for Deadpool. It didn't even have a satisfying ending, leaving the reader wondering.

I guess it's great that the writing made me experience so much, it just came from such an unexpected place in such an unexpected fashion that I felt kind of awful for everyone involved.

I love comicbooks, I will admit to existence pretty new to Deadpool books and I know things aren't always happy unicorns with him but this was a expect at the more

Not the worst comic I've read merely not the best ane either. This is a i-off AU where Deadpool once once more kills the Marvel universe. I think the execution of the beginning comic was a lot better. This 1 had creative moments (view spoiler)[I liked how the fine art style would modify while we were in Deadpool'south caput. As somewhat lightheaded these Deadpool Kills books tend to be, this turned out to be a fairly interesting spin on the concept that gave more purpose to Deadpool'due south lethal actions versus a contrived plot device villain or any. It's not exactly high literature, but information technology is quite clever how they came up with and then many creative ways to kill Marvel characters together with some very interesting Elseworlds-style hallucinations for him that could have been fun spin-offs on their own in some cases. Closer to a four than a 2.
It's a short just fun story that fixes a handful of flaws in the original while also tying in to a whole other serial (no spoilies)
Biggest flaw is still the fact that most characters are killed in just a few panels, and it really hurts the thrill of watching these characters fight. Overall, I'd recommend information technology if you lot got a re-create cheap, or just needed to kill a half hour in the metropolis with money to burn.

Not the best Deadpool book. I don't know where information technology fits in his timeline and it seems like it's only throwing shade at the concept of retconning. He literally kills everyone only yet nosotros know these superheroes aren't expressionless. Information technology's just an odd concept...
